Not only can you sell ebooks on platforms like Amazon.com; but you can also sell ebooks directly from your own website as well. This allows you to sell your ebooks for higher prices and get all of the profits.

For travelers, hiring a house sitter can offer peace of mind. And offering those services doesn’t require you to do anything tech-related, though there are some websites that let you advertise your availability.
Cleaning windows is another job that people will gladly pay someone else to do. A squeegee, a bucket, a rag, a good window cleaner and a great technique will produce results that will keep customers calling you again and again for your window cleaning services.
Sign up for an account with Field Agent and get paid to do small tasks around town for different clients. Those usually involve scanning barcodes with your Phone, checking prices at your local drug store and conducting field surveys. Your earnings vary from assignment to assignment and depend on the area you are based in. For example, one listing offers $9 for 4 pictures of any products in the toothbrush section of the local Target in Mission Viejo, CA; while taking one picture of $19.99 & under video game display taken in any Toys “R” in NYC will earn you $5.50.
You could try to do this business online…but of course the issue is getting people the right size. You could even send several sizes if they are not sure of their size. Or you could have a storefront. You don’t need a fancy location or expensive buildout. There is a formal wear rental facility near me that has been very successful for decades, and the storefront looks like it was last remodeled about 50 years ago.

While talking about how the collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign came together, Dinah Jane told Billboard that she was “happy he agreed” to be on the track as he was one of her “favorite artists”. After hearing his song, “Paranoid”, she told her groupmates, “Guys, we gotta get this dude on our song,” as she saw him “as a perfect fit” for this track. Jane complimented the way he “rides” the song and “brings a different feel to it”. Sharing similar sentiments, Cabello said that he “added [an] amazing flair” to the song. She also praised the way he played the “melody and his dissonant notes,” saying that he “made his own hooky part of the bridge.” Featured artist Ty Dolla Sign discussed his contribution in the song during an commentary to Billboard where he revealed that he was persuaded to join the song after his 11-year-old daughter continuously played their tracks. He recalls a time where he was on tour and had a lot of girls “in the hotel room”. According to Ty, they usually “put on Future or something more turnt” but all of them wanted to “hear Fifth Harmony”. He said that was the first time that ever happened. When discussing the album’s single choice, Kordei told Entertainment Weekly that the song made sense after releasing “Worth It” because they had “similar styles, but still sounded “different”. She elaborates by saying that the song is “chill” and “not too much” while referring to it as “sexy” but “cool” with “something electrifying about it”. Nearly a month after the interview took place, the track premiered for the first time on radio on February 26, 2016 on the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, and was released along with the pre-order of the album. It was then serviced to contemporary hit radio in the United States four days later on March 1, 2016.
Anyone can sell goods on Amazon, provided you have products to sell (or buy low, then resell). If you’re the type to hit all the local garage sales each weekend, there’s all sorts of valuable things that can be resold online as a side business idea. If you want to step your Amazon selling game up, check out this detailed guide to Amazon and eBay retail arbitrage on Entrepreneur featuring an interview with Julie Becker and several drop-shippers who’ve grown this home based business idea from side business idea into a lucrative money-maker.
For example, if you are an affiliate marketer for Musician’s Friend, an online musical instrument retailer, you can advertise their products on your site. If a person visits your site, and clicks on the link that takes them to the Musician’s Friend website, and they purchase an instrument within a certain amount of time (24 hours or more, typically), you get a commission on the sale.
Advertise your price. Get a large piece of paper, cardboard or poster paper, and write what you’re selling and how much one serving costs. For instance, you might write “LEMONADE, 25 CENTS”. Set a fair price point, and make it something you’d be willing to pay yourself; if you’re not sure what’s fair, ask your parents or another trustworthy adult.
Copywriting is the art and science of strategically delivering words (whether written or spoken) that get people to take some form of action. It can range from anything to sales pages, to email marketing, to even blog content.
Successful founder of YDE, Paul Simon, sold his business when it had an annual turnover of R160 million at the time of its sale, to start his own home-grown rooibos iced tea brand; Über Flavour. Simon discovered a South African product being made in Stuttgart, Germany, and felt he had to correct this ‘injustice’. Über Flavour sold out in the first six weeks of production, and within eight months it was in 150 locations in Cape Town and Johannesburg; from restaurants to grocery chains.
Some local businesses don’t want to go through all of the necessary steps to do their inbound marketing themselves. They would rather have you just do it all for them and deliver leads to their doorstep. If you go into this business I would suggest that you consider building your expertise for a particular industry, instead of a particular location, as the results for a particular industry are more likely to be repeatable.
Manage social media for businesses. If you have a knack for social media, you could potentially get paid to manage various platforms for others. Many businesses are too busy running day-to-day operations to stay on top of their Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts – and will pay someone with the knowledge and time to do it for them. To find these jobs, ask local businesses and check sites like UpWork.com and Problogger.net.
You could also do something like proofreading or transcription work. Many bloggers and authors need proofreaders to make sure their writing is on point. You can learn how to get started proofreading for bloggers and others here.
Don’t be tempted to start a retail store just because you find a cute, affordable space to rent. Location means everything in retail, and a good location usually costs a lot of money. I would spend several days sitting in front of a potential retail location with a counting device, counting cars and pedestrians walking by, before I’d even think about signing a retail lease. Then if you do get a great location, take full advantage of it with great signage and an enticing storefront.

I love working for TTEC@home. I get to interact with and help others from the comfort of my own home. (Have you ever been in Houston traffic rush hour? That says it all!) Plus, they have some of the most amazing people I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. They aren’t just here to draw a paycheck. They truly care about their co-workers. I work many miles from the brick and mortar buildings, but I have a sense of security that my coworkers have my back and I’m not alone.
Users of smartphones and tablets are always damaging the screens. Sometimes just a single drop can be enough to crack a screen. Many devices require special tools to replace screens and so most people need to turn to a screen repair business. You could charge customers for your labour and there would be little costs after the initial set-up costs.
You may ask how to earn extra income from home using the internet? Well the answer is quite simple, you can utilize your computers idle resources to process data automatically while you go about your business.
One thing that most small towns have in common is grass, lots, and lots of grass. Since small towns tend to be in rural areas, more residents are likely to have lawns and larger gardens. That means people will be on the hunt for lawn and gardening services. A few of the benefits to starting a business such as this in a small town is its predictability, reliability, and scalability. Once you begin finding customers, as long as you have quality services that are reasonably priced, you’re likely to keep the same customers for years. You’ll also be able to predict the repeat services that customers will need. Not only does grass need to be cut repeatedly, but lawns need to be fertilized and treated for weeds and bugs on a regular basis. Lawn care is also an ideal small town business idea that will scale well. You can start off by offering a few services such as lawn and shrubbery care, but can later expand to offering landscaping services as well.

I like this idea! Instead of making the speeches and presentations yourself, you are coaching the presenters. I see this market as largely three-fold. First you have professional speakers who are making or trying to make a living giving paid presentations. Then you have people who are regularly called upon to make speeches or presentations in connection with their business. Then you have the person who occasionally is called upon to make a speech or presentation without being paid for it, but nonetheless wants to improve their presenting skills. This third market is the one I would suggest focusing on, to get started in this business.
What are downsides to the drop shipping business model? You have to find a reputable drop shipper you can count on to deliver to your customers. If an order is late or doesn’t go out—or a product is poor quality—you get blamed.
They don’t care what you’re “interested” in. Are they too busy to organize their closet? Do they need someone to help them redesign their website? Maybe they want someone to teach their kid how to play flute.
